Assistant Instructor
Continue your training towards ‘Open Water Scuba Instructor’(OWSI) by taking this 4 day Pro development course introducing you to student diver instruction and the PADI system.
Included in this course are knowledge development, confined and open water teaching presentations, perfection of both your dive skills and theory, also full preparation for your Instructor Development Course (IDC). This may include speciality training to help towards those ‘Instructor Specs’ and of course EFR Instructor training which is a requirement for OWSI registration.
Prerequisites
PADI Divemaster, or leadership level with another diver training organization including:
18 years old.
60 logged dives; documented experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation.
Certified diver for six months.
Medical clearance attesting to dive fitness signed by a physician within the previous 12 months.
Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care course completion (or qualifying training) within the last 24 months.
